Security Current’s panel of CISO judges awarded Hunter as the winner across two categories at their inaugural CISO Choice Awards that recognizes leaders in key technology and business categories, namely – Security Analytics and Security Operations.
Uri May, Hunter’s co-founder and CEO said, “To win two categories in a highly competitive space is both a great honor and further validation that our open, knowledge-powered XDR is addressing high priority analytics and operations problems in cybersecurity threat detection and response.”
The coveted CISO Choice Awards look to honor security vendors across a myriad of demographics, recognizing distinguished services valued by CISO and enterprise from a pool of security service providers globally. Security Current was started in 2020, and the Board of CISO Judges range from leading CISO’s across the globe and various industries that choose a winner based on their experience.
Both the Security Analytics and the Security Operations Awards were awarded to Hunter for its XDR (i.e. Extended Detection & Response) service that not only automates but also enhances SOC decision making, helping companies sail smoothly through threat detection and response. Hunter chose to evolve SOC operations with their insight into automating the process of threat hunting, and XDR is a reliable solution that provides threat investigations and correlations to petabytes of data points across endpoint, cloud, and network.
Using data and alerts already available, Hunters will look to take up more SOC workflows by automating its decision-making processes. It is also vital that there is equilibrium between automation and human feedback to ensure every rock has been turned, every analyst input collected and inputted into the system.
“Congratulations to Hunters on this impressive achievement, winning both the Security Analytics Award and the Security Operations Award for its valuable contributions to the security industry. We were thrilled to have so many remarkable vendors like Hunters making it a successful first year of the CISO Choice Awards.” said Aimee Rhodes, CEO of Security Current.
