MIPI Alliance is popular in developing technical specifications for mobile ecosystems and recently, the firm has announced details for the upcoming MIPI Developers Conference (DevCon). According to the company, the event is to be held on 22-23 September 2020. The event, taking place virtually will provide opportunities for attendees to learn about MIPI technology and how it is aiding new capabilities for mobile development and targeting industries like automotive, ADAS/ADS, 5G, IoT, and more.
Andreas Lock, Vice President Development Electronic Control Units and SW Excellence, Robert Bosch GmbH will act as Keynote speaker at the conference and will give a presentation on “Trends in Future In-Vehicle Communication Networks”.
The two-day event will be divided as follows
- Fourteen sessions on next-generation mobile, automotive, IoT, camera, sensors, PHYs, display, 5G, and other cases.
- MIPI group chairs and subject experts will define implementation processes and applications from a technical point of view.
- A full one day dedicated to automotive topics, including ADAS/ADS, functional safety, and in-vehicle connectivity along with MIPI’s automotive SerDes solutions.
- Sessions diverted towards MIPI’s forthcoming IoT white paper, interoperability solutions for MIPI I3C, and MIPI RFFE for 5G.
The event is specifically for developers and implementers of markets such as ADAS/ADS, 5G, IoT, mobile, automotive, and other mobile-influenced industries.
