Yeastar, world’s leading provider of Unified Communications (UC) solutions, launched their new brand campaign early this year. Their new tagline “Digital value, delivered.” is a promise to offer its customers, a pleasant digital transformation journey.
Jonh Malone, in his blog titled “Is Digital Transformation Real or Hype?”, takes the readers through what Yeastar’s new brand promise can mean to its customers. The author sees value in Yeastar’s two-platform approach in today’s hybrid world that makes both on-premises and UCaaS products available to its customers.
John Malone finds UCaaS/ a complete shift of UC to cloud as not happening any time soon. He backs his view with findings from the Eastern Management Group research that shows that by 2027, 37% of UC system sales will be UCaaS while premises systems will represent the remainder which is 64%. As the market for on-premises UC nor UCaaS is going away, he finds Yeastar’s two-platform approach to make a lot of sense.
Yeastar’s marketing strategy centers on hybrid work and entails collaboration. A trend that is also collaborated by the research by Eastern Management Group. Companies expect 44% of their employees to be doing hybrid work for another 5 years.

The Eastern Management Group surveyed a half-million plus IT manager customers of 44 UC vendors for their CSAT report 2022 Unified Communications Customer Satisfaction. Respondents judged their UC provider in 12 Customer Satisfaction Measurements (see chart below).
